Weed Identification Workshops

The Alaska Natural Heritage Program (AKNHP) and other AKEPIC collaborators have developed a series of non-native plant identification materials.

Species bios are available for all ranked, Alaska non-native plants and can be downloaded from the Invasiveness Ranking page, and links to agencies and organizations that provide online information to assist with non-native plant identification are provided under Other Resources.

Additionally, the Alaska Natural Heritage Program provides weed identification workshops on request. For more information on the length, format, and contents of these workshops please contact Helen Cortes-Burns.
